Update June 2011: The Hipstery store is now permanently closed, we’re just using it as an office and HQ for the online Hipstery. If you want to find out why head here.
So we’re five days into our offline retail adventure, and the store is shaping up nicely. We’ve a considerable amount of work to do to spread the word about it, since its not in a well trafficked area of the city, but it’s early days and we retain all our youthful enthusiasm.
They tell me pictures are worth a thousand words, so I will silence myself and show you some photos of its progress
We’re basically ready to go. There’s a big old blackboard waiting for a man with greater man skills to find it and attach it to the wall. Mystery chocolate and mystery drinks will be ready and appearing in another journal update any day now. Mystery books are stocked, mystery mixtapes are rolling in but we’ve enough to get started, the press have been alerted to our existence, in the meantime I, Bjarni and Mad Dog sit around on the sofa’s telling stories, bickering and generally lowering the quality of the neighbourhood. Oh and packing all those joyous online orders. Thanks for those!
